Finn Harps News

Finn Harps made their trip on Saturday night to Century Homes Park, a profitable one with a 1-0 victory over the home team, Monaghan United. As a result they very much kept their hopes of a top four finish alive. A Davitt Walsh goal on the 66th minute proved to be decisive and sealed the three points in a game that Harps dominated from first whistle to last - and the only surprise was that there was only one goal in it at the finish. The goal was the Fanad man’s ninth goal of the season and makes him Harps top scorer.
This was a good recovery for Harps who lost at home last weekend to Galway United against a side they always find difficult to break down at home. The next two games will go a long way in determining whether Harps make that desired top four spot in the table or not.

Donegal Town and district Finn Harps supporters club and Donegal Community Hospital Patients Comfort Fund fundraising draw will be held on November 18th 2006 in Charlie’s Star Bar, Donegal Town. Ten valuable prizes. Tickets €1 each. Book of 6 for €5. Contact Andrew on 0868331132 or Brid on 0872899562 for tickets.
